JNS-2000 long-acting bactericide was developed
by Jingwei Chemical in collaboration with the
Dye&Printing Technology Institute of Shanghai.
It passed evaluation in July 2001 authorized
by the Economic and Trade Commission of Shanghai.
It is suitable for the bactericidal treatment
of fabrics (including cellulose fibers, synthetic
fibers and blend), home electrical appliances,
kitchenware and toilet ware. As tested by the
Shanghai Institue of Preventive Medicine, it
has long-term inhibitory effect for a broad
spectrum of bacteria, and is non-toxic, non-irritating
to human.
Main ingredients: quaternary
ammonium salts of organic silanes.

Property:
Broad spectrum, high-efficiency and long-term
bactericidal effect.
Safe, long-acting, indissoluble; non-toxic,
non-irritating to human.
Good wash tolerability, particularly on cellulose
fabrics.
Can significantly improve water affinity of
the fabrics treated. It has no effect on the
whiteness of the fabrics.
Bacteria spectra:
Gram negative: E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa,
Salmonella enterica.
Gram positive: Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus
subtilis, Streptococcus.
Fungi: Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus flavus,
Candida albicans.
Algae: Chlorella, Nostoc.
Safety Data:
LD50 mg/kg>5000 (mice acute oral);
No allergic reaction observed (guinea pig, dermal
allergic reaction);
No dermal allergic reaction observed after prolonged
post-marketing survey and tracking, in customers
wearing stockings made from JNS-2000 treated
cotton, nylon, Nitrilon, PU.
